My girlfriend and I were looking for a peaceful birthday getaway, and that was what we had found. The 6+ hours were worth the drive. The location was very clean and organized with labels and instructions. If I had any questions, Jeana would respond in a quick and timely manner and be very helpful with advice and suggestions. The hot tub was clean and well maintained, and there was a lovely fire pit in the back to enjoy at night. TV in every major room, board games to enjoy on a rainy day, books to read. The kitchen had great appliances, including a waffle maker! We also enjoyed a game of air hockey and a classic arcade on the first floor. A great spot for nature lovers, the house is beautiful and surrounded by beautiful trees. Bethel, Maine, is a beautiful town, with scenic landscapes and excellent trails for hikers. The local grocery store and a park are just 5 minutes or so away. Portland is just an hour and a half drive away from Bethel. I would definitely recommend this location.

We stayed a weekend in Jeana’s chalet and it was exactly as shown. Nice private retreat very quiet in the woods. When I reached out she was very responsive and always answered we communicated well. Everyone was comfortable and it was nice being able to accommodate the dogs with us as well. I’d return for another weekend for sure. Thanks for the nice experience and stay Jeana👍

My group booked this house for a trip to ski to sunday river. Our stay was fabulous. Not only was the location perfect but so was the house. We had 13 people and everyone had plenty of room. There were even enough towels and other amenities for our group. Everything throughout the house was perfectly labeled which helped us make sure everything was put back in the correct place. We also loved the air hockey table and the games provided up stairs. Overall, everything was amazing and would 100% stay there again.

Loved our stay in this wonderful mountain chalet! Exactly what we wanted after a day of skiing - an incredibly attractive chalet, in a peaceful, mountainside location . We enjoyed beautiful accommodations, a cozy spot to sit and enjoy the fire with excellent views of the Maine mountains, a steamy hot tub to unwind and relax in. The king bed was very comfortable and rooms attractively decorated in tasteful ski and Maine woods decor. The kitchen had everything we needed including a basket of snacks, pantry spices and even a coffee/hot chocolate bar. We didn’t use the many rooms or the game room, but look forward to visiting again with our friends and family! It’s a place we look forward to returning to with a quick 10 minute drive to the slopes of Sunday River and easy access to shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for a private, but not remote setting nestled on the side of a mountain with beautiful views, this place really hits the mark!

The hot tub and house was very clean as well! Jeana accommodated our group with early check in and a late check out which was amazing. We look forward to returning to 35 Hideaway!
